Is alcohol allowed on board?
Of course alcohol is allowed, but it is suggested that you drink in moderation for obvious reasons (Please try to avoid beverages in glass bottles if at all possible). We strictly enforce the US Coast Guard’s Zero Tolerance Policy on all illegal drugs and controlled substances.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Is fish cleaning included with charter prices?
Fish cleaning is included on all Walleye and Salmon charters. Fishing cleaning is NOT included on Perch charters but is available at nearby bait shops.
Do I need a fishing license?
Every adult in your party will need a valid fishing license.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
How many people can we bring along?
Your crew can consist of anywhere from 1-6 anglers. If you have a larger party we can arrange multiple boats, but please contact us as early as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts with other captains.
Do you drift or troll for walleye?
We strictly offer trolling charters for walleye. If you would prefer to drift fish, we fully understand and would happily refer you to a captain better suited to your fishing style.
Are the prices listed on the website per person or for the entire boat?
Can I pay by credit card?
The preferred method of payment for deposits is with a credit card, check, or money order. When paying the balance of your charter trip cash, check, or money orders are preferred and appreciated. If you choose to pay your charter balance with a credit card please contact us to prior arrangements. Please note that a small convenience fee may apply to credit card payments which are not designated for deposits.
Do kids need a fishing license?
Everyone 17 years of age or older in Michigan will need a fishing license. In Ohio, everyone 16 years old or older will need a fishing license.
What is your deposit refund policy?
Charters must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to your scheduled date in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. All charters cancelled within 30 days of your charter will result in forfeiture of deposit money. If a charter must be cancelled due to inclement weather you will have the choice of rescheduling your date or a refund of your deposit.
