Meet Your Captain
Jason is one of the younger experienced charter captains in the state of Michigan but don’t let that fool you. He has been avidly fishing Lakes Erie, Michigan, and Huron since he was only a few years old. When he was just 19 years old, he obtained a captain’s license and begin chartering. From that time he has gone from a good fisherman to a great one. He is known as one of the hardest working and most successful captains in the ports that he fishes. His main goal is not only to catch fish, but to ensure that each and every customer has the best possible experience.
His Credentials Include:
-100 Ton U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License
-Authorized to engage in commercial assistance towing
-Certified Guide by the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources & Ohio Div. of Wildlife
–Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certified
–Fully Insured
-Member of the Michigan Charter Boat Association
-Member of the Michigan Catch & Cook Program

Michigan Charter Boat Association is one of Michigan’s largest recreational organizations, member captains operate fishing charters on the Great Lakes.
Launched in 2012, Michigan Catch & Cookis an effort to promote and encourage creative, yet safe, marketing of Michigan Great Lakes sports fish through a partnership with the charter fishing industry and local restaurants.
